Cathy has always been concerned with the person, the product and the truth. As a consistent top producer on Longboat Key, Cathy has the in-depth knowledge of the real estate market and the patience and perseverance to achieve her buyers' and sellers' goals.
Cathy was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi and grew up in Meridian, Mississippi. After attending Meridian Jr. College for 2 years, she married her husband, Craig, who was stationed at the Meridian Naval Station. After traveling for 5 years with the Navy and living in Deerfield, IL for 2 years, she and her family moved to Longboat Key in 1973 after vacationing on the Key for 2 weeks. They lived at and managed the family-owned Longboat Key beachfront resort called The Golden Beach (now known as The Wicker Inn). Both their daughters loved growing up on Longboat Key. They and their families love to return to Gramma and Grampa's house by the Bay on Longboat Key.
Cathy entered real estate on Longboat Key in 1978 as a Property/Rental Manager and obtained her Florida real estate salesman and then broker license. She was Broker/Owner of her own well established real estate company from 1983-1996. During her real estate career, she has earned Condominium Association Manager Licensure, Graduate Realtor Institute designation and e-Pro certification. As Branch Manager of Wagner Realty's Longboat Key office, she continues to be committed to her customers and past clients and their real estate needs. Referrals from past clients, repeat clients and positive word of mouth advertising now make up a large portion of her business. Cathy's newest designation is SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist
Cathy brings professionalism with a personal touch and combines it with her extensive knowledge of Longboat Key and the surrounding area to meet her client's needs. She knows real estate and she knows Longboat Key-together it's a powerful combination. She has the in-depth knowledge of the market and the patience and perseverance to achieve her buyers' and sellers' objectives. Although recognition in the industry is important, Cathy gains the most satisfaction from helping people accomplish their objectives.

She looks forward to filling you in on all the little details that make the Longboat Key and Sarasota area so unique. When she is not helping a family find the home of their dreams or sell their home, she enjoys giving to the community where she has lived and worked for almost 35 years. She is a member of the Longbeach Village Association, Longboat Key Garden Club, Longboat Key Historical Society, and Longboat Center of the Arts.
